Aimed specifically for children and adolescents living with a disability, Partnership Builds facilitates school holiday day programs for kids to socialise, build new skills, and have fun!
Partnership Builds offers a wide range of fun, engaging, and entertaining day activities and programs for NDIS participants of school age. We tailor options to individual skill levels, ages, and disability support needs.
Partnership Builds runs small activity groups numbering no more than 12, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. We can arrange transport to and from the activity and event and cater to individual preferences and requirements.
We offer:
· Socialising and play activities
· Sports and games, including swimming
· Drama and music
· Science and technology experiments
· Active sessions
· Art, crafts, and creative expression
· Life skill building for high school age children
· Cooking and catering skills
· Sensory and adventure walks
These programs can be tailored to your child’s needs, preferences, and goals, working together with families, stakeholders, and carers, so they can achieve their aims.
We also offer quiet rooms for participants with special sensory needs.
Many of our participants have enjoyed day activities and go on to be regulars at many of our workshops, outings, and training days during school times and after school.
This way, participants can have fun while building their capabilities and socialising with their peers.
Yes – we do both pickups and drop-offs. We have a people mover, a 2x wheelchair-accessible bus, and wheelchair-accessible car for all NDIS participant school holiday programs.
Personalised activities are funded under the Core Supports, falling under the category of ‘Assistance with daily living.’
Just like any other outing with you participant, you should bring water, changes of clothes (if you’re doing messy activities), sanitary options, a packed lunch, modified utensils, regular or necessary medications, and items your participant is used to seeing or having while out of their usual environment.
We keep our school holiday groups as small as possible to cater to their sensory and mobility needs. The largest group we accommodate is 12 at present. We also aim to include a quiet room for participants with special sensory needs.
COMPASSIONATE
We offer supervised activities that nurture their innate skills and independence.
TAILORED
Our school holiday programs cater directly to the needs and desires of our participants.
NURTURING
We ensure every participant is looked after and supervised effectively, born out of true love and respect for one another
